Dempster is the Founder and President of Dempster Healthcare Group.
A former partner at Daniel Stern and Associates, John has provided healthcare
consulting and physician/executive searches for over 25 years.
John has a national reputation in the creation of healthcare alliances for
physicians, hospitals and healthcare systems. He specializes in contract development
and negotiations along with strategic planning for hospitals and medical group
practices. John is a skilled facilitator in conducting retreats for boards
of trustees, hospital executives and physician group practices.
John received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
Richard A. Laird is a Principal with Dempster Healthcare Group. With over
25 years experience in the healthcare field, he has held executive positions
with academic medical centers, physician group practices and a medical insurance
company.
Currently, Richard is a healthcare consultant for hospitals and physician
group practices. He specializes in the creation of Medical Staff Development
Plans for hospitals and develops physician recruitment strategies for hospitals.
In addition, he performs and supports physician and healthcare executive searches
for hospitals and group practices.
Richard received his bachelor’s degree in engineering and his mater’s
degree in healthcare administration from the University of Michigan.
